What's in my water?

Water is an excellent natural solvent. This means can rarely be found pure and is also frequently altered or treated with chemicals to make it consumable. Tap water contains many different types of chemicals and minerals. Sometimes it can have a metallic taste from the pipes that it comes to your home in. Many wells contain water that tastes earthy, chock full of the minerals and dirt that it comes from. Filters don't clean your water 100 percent. Treatment with chemicals is just replacing one additive with another. Bottled waters generally aren't much better than your tap water and plastic can also contaminate your drinking water. The solution: home water distillation.

What does a Running Waters water distiller do?

The process of obtaining pure distilled water is not some new science or miracle invention. The Running Waters water distiller uses today's technology to duplicate processes that exist in nature. It is a distillation process where tap water is boiled to make steam, the steam is then turned into cool, pure distilled water, leaving behind all minerals, toxic chemicals and boiled microorganisms to be returned to earth. Sounds simple enough? It is. Add to that the fact that the distiller unit hooks directly into a water supply and automatically fills and shuts off. The process of using the water distiller is as easy as it could possibly be - for your work or home, cooking or drinking, this water distiller is a product that is as simple to use as a water cooler at a fraction of the monthly cost for clean pure distilled water.

How does it compare to bottles?

Compare our water distiller to bottled water, both the single serving water you get from the store or the big 5 gallon bottles commonly found in offices. First of all, the water is not pure water. It might be filtered, but it is usually simple well water, or even tap water from the area where the water is manufactured. No amount of filtration can remove all of the impurities and leave you with pure h20. And the cost? On average a bottle of water (20 oz) costs about a dollar. For that price you could get at least 10 gallons of pure water from your distiller. 5 gallon bottles of "spring water"? More like 5 to 8 dollars per bottle. Not to mention the fact that the bottled water absorbs impurities from the bottles themselves! With the Running Waters water distiller you get pure, clean, affordable drinking water EVERY TIME. There is absolutely no substitute for good clean drinking water.

What about home filters?

Home filters are generally charcoal filters that attach to a faucet, or in some cases a multi-stage filter system that is between your water line and faucet. In theory, these filter devices are great - they trap many different types of micro-organisms and minerals. After a while, however, the filters become a breeding ground for organisms that multiply in damp places. This reduces the effectiveness of the filters. The only solution to this would be to replace your filters about 10 times as often as the manufacturer recommendations!

Distillation is the only method of producing drinking water perfected by Mother Nature over millions of years. Our Running Waters distiller uses the same process of evaporation and condensation found within nature. We just use modern technology to speed up the process.

Distilling water is the only way to ensure the quality of your drinking water- 100% of the time. Steam Distillation destroys biological contaminants - including anthrax, cholera, and salmonella. Protect your health and your baby's health by using the fluid mother nature intended for us to use - pure, H2O water.
